Amanda Christi is an entrepreneur, video and marketing professional, and indoor gardening expert. With co-founder Andrew Swenson, she runs Mischief & Sunshine, a home hydroponics online business. Their flagship product is ISABELL, an indoor hydroponic system that produces fresh greens, vegetables and herbs year-round, even in small spaces.

ALEX KOLBO

Alex grew up in Kearney, Nebraska and has been teaching at Lincoln East High School since 2012. He teaches Graphic Design, Photography, and Ceramics. Alex met his wife Machelle and now business partner in college while they both attended UNL. Machelle started her business Machelle Kolbo Design Studio in 2014 with the goal of creating products that love and encourage, featuring hand lettering and illustration. They have since teamed up where Machelle does all the designing and running of the business and Alex does most of the making.

Grant Peterson

Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Grant learned the craft of woodworking from his father and grandfather and started Amos Approved in 2015. The name derived from his 100-pound English Golden Retriever, Amos. Since then, Amos Approved has established itself as a premier furniture business offering handcrafted solid wood furniture. Custom designs and one-of-a-kind tables have become his specialty throughout homes and commercial spaces in Nebraska.

Ryan Forney

Ryan Forney is a metalworker and woodworker, making handcrafted tables, cutting boards, bowls, children’s toys, and more. He runs Heimwerker Brothers with his fiancée Kat Taylor, an artist and graphic designer. Heimwerker means handyman in German and there’s little the two of them can’t design and make.
